Recommended 7-way Connector For 2021 Ford F-150 XL W/ 4-way Connector
Question:
Do you have a kit to install a 7pin harness on an XL without a towing package? I see the 4 pin under the bumper, but the rest of the wiring is different than the 20’ models. Thanks!

I reached out to my contact at Tekonsha and for your 2021 Ford F-150 XL with the 4-way connector installed you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118283 which will plug into the factory connector near your spare tire.
Now if you are needing a 7-way connector due to your trailer having trailer brakes, you will also need to add a trailer brake controller. I recommend going with the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 as it plugs directly into the 7-way connector, and will not require any drilling in the dash of your new truck like a traditional controller would.
