What PSI Should the Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire Be Filled To
Question:
I have 235 80 16 on my 5th wheel trailer. Max inflation is 110. My tire dealer suggested max of 80 pounds because the wheels/bearings wont handle 110 pressure. They are g rated tires. Just making sure thats correct. I did upgrade to these tires from the original tires that were 80 pounds max

In regards to Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire part # LHWL401 (Load Range E), you will need to fill them to the max psi listed on the sidewall while cold which for this particular tire is 80 psi. If there is a different max cold psi listed on the sidewall then that is what you will need to fill the tires to, no exceptions. If you have increased load ranges, this will like create a harsher ride but you'll still need to fill them to the psi listed on the tire.
