Is There a 215/75-14 Trailer Tire with Load Range D Rating
Question:
Hi I currently have st215/75r14 load range D on my boat trailer and the trailer has a sticker stating this is the tires to use. My boat and trailer is about 4200LBS with no gear. However i live in a small town in Canada and everywhere in my area and even the 2 bigger cities nearby does not have stock in the D rated tire only the C. I do not go long distance I go about 40km one way to get my lake. Would you recommend searching for the D rating or can i go and get the C rating ones? Please help.

I have great news, we do offer 215/75-14 trailer tires with a load range d rating. The Provider ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire part # TTWTRTM2157514D is what I recommend. It has an 81 mph speed rating with included two year warranty. It also has automotive-grade tread for better performance.
I do not recommend downgrading to a lower rated tire under any circumstance as this can lead to blowouts.
