Is there an Advantage to Going to a Higher Load Range Tire on a Trailer

Question:

I have a light built 6foot x 12foot utility trailer. Having a single 3500 lb axle, is there any advantage to going up to Dinch load rating?

The advantage you get from going to a higher tire Load Range is increased weight capacity for the tires. If your current tires are adequate for the weight of your trailer you really wouldn't gain anything by going to a higher Load Range than needed.

I am not sure what size tire you need, but if you check out the link I attached you will see all the tires we offer where you can select the size and Load Range you would like. I would recommend going with a radial too since they run cooler and ride better.
