How To Add a 7-Way Trailer Connector To a 2004 GMC Sierra
Question:
Is there a 7 prong flat plug that goes with this receiver I can order with it for a 2004 gmc sierra 2500 with factory towing

Expert Reply:
There should already be a trailer wiring harness installed on a 2004 GMC Sierra from the factory. That said, you may just not have the trailer connector portion but this can be purchased with the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket part # HM40975. This harness with corresponding plug should be tied-up near the spare tire or frame rail. The trailer connector can then be mounted to the trailer hitch using the Curt No-Drill Bracket part # C57202.
