The 30 amp fuse on my travel trailer keeps blowing when placed in. The battery is fully charged. This is the outside fuse between battery and trailer. Camper will operate when connected to truck. This is 2007 cruiser fun finder x 250bhs

It sounds like there is a short somewhere in the wiring on the trailer. Something may be switched like the positive/negative or there is some bare metal on a wire that is touching the trailer frame. The fuse blowing indicates a short or something drawing too much power constantly. You will want to go through the trailer wiring and make sure its all set up correctly, there are no broken wires touching bare metal, and that all the grounds are attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces.

The 12 volt power from the trailer connector needs to go to the positive battery terminal on the trailer battery. When connected, the 12 volt circuit will maintain the charge level of the battery. The jack itself will ground to the trailer frame (some jacks even ground through their mounting hardware) and to the negative battery terminal. Then you would connect the power wire to the positive battery terminal on the trailer battery before inserting the fuse.
