Troubleshooting Trailer Jack that Blows 30 Amp Fuse Consistently

Question:

I have a 3500 lb. trailmanor. The jack is rated 3500 lbs. It blows a 30 amp fuse twice after using it for a while. Should I go to a breaker type.

If you are overdrawing the circuit consistently I can't recommend you just change the fuse setup so that it just trips the breaker and starts working again. Long term this could potentially damage the circuit of the vehicle and potentially melt wires, or even worse cause a fire.

The issue you are having is due to the fact that most 12 volt accessory circuits that are used for powering a trailer jack are a 40 amp circuit. The only solution I can provide would be to rewire the circuit of your 7-way with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) to the positive terminal of the battery with a 40 amp breaker like part # 9510 so that you jack can work properly.
