Can Lippert Turning Point Pin Box be Locked Out to Use with B and W Companion Hitch
Question:
I have a 2020 Chevy 3500hd Silverado 6’9” standard bed truck without factory puck system. I have installed the BWGNRK1020 and looking to purchase the slider hitch BWRVK3400-5W. The Lippert turning point pin box is being installed on a lot of the new RV’s we are looking at. In some of the QandA I saw that it is not recommended use the wedge on this BandW turnover underbed gooseneck. My question is, is it acceptable to use the Lippert turning point pin box with the BandW underbed turnover ball if the Lippert remains in the locked position and the wedge not used? Thank you

If the Turning Point pin box is locked out so that it essentially behaves like a standard pin box yes you can use a Companion hitch with it like the # BWRVK3400-5W and the rail kit that fits your 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 # BWGNRK1020.
