Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For Preventing Sway In 2016 Ford F-150 W/ Truck Bed Camper

Question:

Please make a recommendation for my F350 pickup. I haul a 1800 lb camper and pull a 20 boat. I’m interest in fixing the sway from the camper. Do I need sumospring on front and back axils?

For your 2016 Ford F-350 Diesel carrying a 1800lb truck bed camper and towing a 20' boat the correct SumoSprings would be the # SS84VR if your truck is 4WD or the # SSR-114-54 if your truck is 2WD.

You will not need to add the springs to the front axle, just the rear.

Now since your primary concern is sway I recommend going with a different option, the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA22.

This kit will give you 2500lbs of load leveling support which is plenty for what you are carrying and towing, but will be much more effective in regards to preventing sway due to its design. This kit will also fit 2WD and 4WD trucks.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
