Suspension Enhancement for Leveling 2012 Ford F-250 When Pulling Fifth Wheel

Question:

I have a 2012 Ford F250 4 WD Crew cab. I pull a 2018 chaparral 42 foot 5th wheel. The truck settles down around 1-1/2 to 2 inches below level when hooked up. It is about 1/2 inch high when not hooked up. I'm looking at the super springs ssa22 to try to get as close to level as I can. I don't want to go much lighter on the springs and not any heavier because of ride. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks for your help

The SuperSprings # SSA22 would be a smart choice to raise your 2012 Ford F-250 when pulling your fifth wheel. They are designed to prevent the sagging you are experiencing and should put you pretty close to level. If you take a look at the attached photo, you can clearly see the difference the springs will make. They have the additional perk of reducing sway, which I imagine can be an issue when towing a 42 foot trailer.

I've added a link to a video install of these so you can take a look at the process involved.
