Recommended Axle Upgrade For 2017 Starcraft Launch Mini Travel Trailer
Question:
Hi, I have a 2017 Starcraft Launch mini and want to replace/upgrade the axle to fix odd tire wear and ensure longevity of under carriage on trip to Alaska. The axle dimensions are hub face to hub face 77.75 inches and spring center length of 59.5 inches, do you offer a replacement that fits this application?

I have an axle upgrade option for your 2017 Starcraft Launch Mini Travel Trailer, but we do not have a standard axle that has a hub face measurement of 77-3/4" and a spring center measurement of 59-1/2".
Instead I recommend going with the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System w Hubs - Straight Spindle - 5 on 4-1/2 # A35RS545 that has a 3500lb axle rating to match what is currently on your Launch Mini, and bolts directly to the frame of your trailer so hub face and spring center measurements won't matter.
This system replaces the leaf spring suspension currently on your trailer with progressive rate AEON main springs that do a much better job of absorbing road shock than leaf springs so you will notice quite the difference in ride quality.
Since this has the same axle rating as your current axle and uses the same bearing combination you can reuse your existing hub and drum assemblies along with the braking assemblies.
If you would rather get new hub and drum assemblies and braking assemblies then I recommend going with the # A35RS545E instead as it is the same system with the addition of new hubs and drums and braking assemblies.
I included a few videos on the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension for you to take a look at.
