Using the 3/16 Hand Winch Cable with the Dutton & Lainson Single Speed Hand Winch

I plan on using a 3/16 cable with this winch, but I am not sure if I need to order the cable fastener, or if this cable fastener is only needed for 3/8 cable. Please advise. Thanks!

If you are planning on using the 3/16 inch Hand Winch Cable, part # DL24043, or any 3/16 inch cable, with the Dutton & Lainson Single Speed 600lb Hand Winch, part # DL14125, you will need a 3/16 inch fastener. I recommend the 3/16 inch Cable Fastener, part # DL24360.
