Water Heater To Replace Atwood Gc6aa/10E

Question:

I need to replace an Atwood Gc6aa/10e dsi 6 gallon water heater. Please let me know if you have something that will work. Both tankless and regular are options as long as they fit the space. Thanks for being available to answer and note you will be my purchase place if you have available.

The direct replacement for your Atwood Gc6aa/10E water heater has been discontinued. I recommend the Atwood RV Water Heater Item # DMC74FR which only requires a 12-3/4" x 12-3/4" cutout. This is a standard gas and electric, 10,000 BTU water heater which recovers up to 12 gallons of water per hour. Your current Atwood requires a 16" x 12-1/2" cutout. Since the new Atwood cutout is smaller, I recommend using the Water Heater Door Conversion Kit Item # DMC84FR.

It is also available in black under Item # DMC24FR.
