Recommended Hitch Ball for Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2inch Hitches - 1inch Rise, 2inch - 14,000 lbs How long a shank do I need or how thick is the portion where you mount the ball? It looks pretty beefy, just want to have enough thread.

The ball platform on the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches part # AMSC2HD is slightly thicker than normal so you will want to use a hitch ball with an extended length shank. I recommend the 2" Hitch Ball part # A-90 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # C40030.
