How To Determine If a 2016 Ford Explorer Has a Factory Tow Package
Question:
How do I know if my 2016 Ford Explorer has a tow package?

The best way to determine if a vehicle has a factory tow package is to reach out to the dealer with the VIN. It sounds like you are looking for a trailer wiring harness. In which case, I recommend using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118540 if you don't have the factory tow package or part # 118272 if you do. If you have the factory tow package and need both then you can add the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket part # HM40975.
