Estimated Professional Installation Time of Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66130
Question:
I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra CrewMax and would like to know what you think the average time to install this hitch would be from a dealers service department. I have purchased a 2013 Star Craft Autumn Ridge 329BHU trailer to use with it too. Any information you can provide is appreciated. If there is a link available to show a video of the installation I would like that as well. Thank you.

We do professional weight distribution installations here so I went and asked one of our installers how long it normally takes to install a Strait-Line weight distribution system like # RP66130. He stated that installing the parts is the easy part and does not take all that long but there is a lot of fine tuning that has to be done after the parts are assembled to be able to tow the trailer level and get the system just right.
In total for everything, set up, installation, and fine tuning the system just right, our installers usually take 4 hours from start to finish. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation for you. I have also included a link to the installation instructions and a link to our FAQ article on weight distribution and sway control.
