In order to choose the correct replacement hub/drum for a trailer you'll need to know the axle capacity which is usually found on an tag in the center of the beam. Once this is obtained you'll also need to know the bolt pattern.

The etrailer Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for example is for 3,500 lbs axles and has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern. This is one of the most common hub/drum replacements.
