How To Find New Hub/Drums with Oil Baths for Trailer Axle

Question:

Interested in switching my hubs over to the drum oil bath from the traditional set up. I have an older pace setter trailer. Whats the best place for me to check on the trailer where I can see what axle is currently on the trailer to ensure this would work? Thanks!

In order to find the correct hub/drum for a trailer you'll need to know the axle capacity. This can most easily be found listed on the axle tag in the center of the beam. The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-285-10UC3-A for example is for 8,000 lb axles and uses an oil bath. It might be worthwhile to make sure the pilot hole on the wheel exceeds that of the hub as well. This one is 4-3/4". Please let me know the axle capacity so I can confirm the correct hub/drum. I have attached our full list below.
