Determining Which Leaf Springs Fit A Continental AWC11e Trailer
Question:
Hello, I am currently trying to find leaf spring replacements for my Continental AWC11e Trailer. These are the ones that I think will fit, but the springs on my current trailer are stacked 4 high and are flat at the bottom, not rounded off.

I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement springs for your Continental AWC11e Trailer, but unfortunately we do not have a break down of the specific components your trailer uses.
To determine the correct replacement spring you will need to know the length and width of your current spring, and the rating of your axle.
To find the length of the spring you will need to measure from the center of the spring eye to the end of the spring. It is important to make sure you measure this with the axle off the ground and no weight on the spring or you will get an inaccurate measurement. The width can be measured anywhere on the spring.
Now to find the axle rating the easiest way is to look for the axle tag on the center of the axle as this will have the axle rating on it. If the axle tag is missing you can get a pretty good idea of the axle rating by taking the GVWR of the trailer and dividing it by the number of axles. The number of leaves is not important as long as the rating of the spring matches your axle.
The 3-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Radius End for 1,500-lb Trailer Axles - 24-5/8" Long # SP-178275 you were looking at measures 24-5/8" long, 1-3/4" wide, and is for a 1500lb axle. If this matches you current springs measurement this would be a great replacement option for you. The radius end will still work fine to replace your flat end spring.
If your spring is a different length/width or has a different axle rating and you can provide the above information on your spring I would be happy to make a recommendation for you.
I included a video of the # SP-178275 for you to take a look at.
