It is possible to replace your 62" long axle with a longer one. Our next size up is going to be a 72" long 2K rated axle like part # e32GR. The axle being 72" across measured from hub-face to hub-face. This axle comes with 5 on 4-1/2" idler hubs, which will allow for a ton of tire/wheel combos.

In order to use our axle you would likely need to relocate the spring seats. We sell them individually with part # TRSS175. From the looks of things, you would need a new u-bolt kit # CE23000 as well.

As far as the leaf springs, you certainly can go with a shorter spring. In fact, you are probably going to have to go with a smaller spring, as 47" long leaf springs are basically unheard of these days. New springs will require installation of new spring hangers. You could use a hanger/bolt kit like part # APS4. For the leaf spring itself, we have a few different sizes for the 2K axles. I have listed your options below.

20-3/8" long # e84SR
26" long # e77SR

I know there can be a lot involved with replacing all of these components. Feel free to reach out with any additional questions.
