Spare Wheel and Tire Carrier Recommendation for Pole Tongue Trailer with 4 inch Tall Frame
Question:
I need to mount the spare vertically on the trailer tongue which means the U-bolt would span the 4” side of the 3” x 4” tongue. Do you have that style for a 5-lug, 14” spare with locking mount?

Expert Reply:
For your application the best way to mount a trailer spare to the side of your frame would be with the Dutton Lainson Offset Spare Carrier part # DL22145 which fits your 5 lug bolt pattern and your frame dimensions.
