How Do I Keep My Trailers Break Away Battery Charged When In Storage?

I have a trailer break away battery system with internal charging while connected to vehicle. What device is available to keep the battery charged while not connected to vehicle? Regards

For maintaining your trailer battery I recommend using a Duracell Battery Charger and Maintainer # DU87FR. This will plug into a standard wall outlet and charge/maintain your battery to help extend the battery life.

If you park your trailer where you do not have easy access to power the Bright Way Solar Battery Charger # BRW54FR can be used to charge the battery. This can be mounted to part of the trailer and is also easily removable with the 2 prong in line plug.

If you store your trailer during the winter with little to no use I recommend bringing the battery into a warmer area. Batteries that spend a lot of time in the cold without use are prone to freeze and can damage the cells inside the battery or the case.
