Best Way To Reduce Sag While Towing With A 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I just got a 2022 Silverado 1500 and am towing a travel trailer with it. I've got weight distribution already, but I am still getting a good amount of sag when it's hooked up. I would like your best option to get rid of said sag. I was looking at the SumoSprings SS45FR, but I am not sold on it. This truck rides really nice when unloaded so I would like to be able to remove the support when I am not towing. Or adjust it down so I cant feel it.

If you are looking for the best option to get rid of sag on your 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500, you will want the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2609. These offer up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling capacity at 100 psi, but can then be deflated down to 5 psi, which will return you to your stock ride. With the SumoSprings # SS45FR not having this adjustability and a lower capacity, I highly recommend the Firestone air bags.
A potential add on to this though, will be a compressor. The Firestone Air Command Compressor System # F2610 would pair with the # F2609 very nicely and will allow you to adjust the pressure on the fly, which is a nice thing. This will connect to a smartphone as well so you will not need to run a wire into the cab to attach a gauge. It is also highly recommended.
