Question:
Will this Curt hitch receiver affect the operation of my power liftgate?

You should not have a problem opening your hatch with your foot when the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", pat # C13416. At etrailer we are experienced in installing this hitch receiver on the 2021 Toyota RAV 4. Both of our reviewers said you have to find a new spot on either side of the hitch receiver to activate the hatch door since you can no longer use the center of the rear of the vehicle. But each reviewer said once you find that "sweet spot" you should not have any problems using your foot to open the hatch. I also spoke with a representative from Curt who said there should not be any issues with the Foot Activated Power Hatch.
I have included to different hitch review links that address this particular issue.
