Boat Trailer Guide-Ons for 18 Alumacraft Dominator on Shorelandr Trailer

Question:

I am looking for something to add to my boat trailer to provide a visual guide when my wife backs the empty trailer down the boat ramp. Something that also assisted when loading in wind or current would be an added benefit. I have been looking at the trailer guide ons such as Item # CE27626 or Item # CE27620. Does something like this make sense? I have an 18ft Alumacraft Dominator on a Shorelandr roller trailer. What is the difference between these two products? Is there something else that I should be looking at? Thanks in advance!

I recommend the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons with LED Lights # CE27740. These will provide you with the assistance when loading in wind and current but also with visibility as the lights come in handy when it starts to get dark. This will not only help when loading the boat but also when backing up the trailer as the lights and poles offer a great reference point for seeing the back of the trailer. This kit will fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall.

The CE Smith Extra-Long U-Bolt Kit # CE11416 can be added to fit trailer frames up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall.
