Recommended Thule Cargo Box For 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon with Factory Removable Crossbars

Hi. I have a 2019 Subaru Outback wagon limited that came with the factory stowable rack. I would like to put a thule cargo carrier on it or a Yakima cargo carrier. What cargo carriers will work and do I need to get additional parts for the roof rack to attach the cargo carrier? Thank you so much.

The good news is that your factory crossbars for your 2019 Subaru Outback wagon will fit accessories from most aftermarket brands. This means you can use just about any brand box or basket that you'd like and in most cases you should be able to open the rear hatch on your Outback without interference.
I recommend using either the Thule Motion XT L # TH6357B and Motion XT XL # TH6358B we've previously determined be used on a 2019 Subaru Outback wagon and allow the rear cargo hatch to be opened fully when the box is installed. I really like the Motion XT series boxes because they can be opened from either side of the vehicle and the quick dial clamps make it easy to install and remove.
