Will Yakima Sky Box 18 Cargo Box Fit Factory Crossbars on 2018 Subaru Outback Touring

Hello I was wondering if the Yakima Carbonite sky box18 would fit on a 2018 Subaru outback 2.5 touring model that has the Thule aero crossbars that come stock. And would the tail gate open with the box on.

I checked with Yakima and can confirm that the Yakima SkyBox 18 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07336 will fit the factory crossbars on a 2018 Subaru Outback Touring.

In regards to if you will be able to open the hatch of your Touring with the SkyBox 18 on, there is going to be a quick measurement you need to take in order to determine that. As you can see by the accompanying diagram I added for you, simply measure from the center of your front bar to the rear seam of your Outback. If that measurement is at least 57 inches you will be able to open your Outback's hatch.
