Is the Pull Pin Easy Swivel Trailer Jack DL22580 Strong Enough For A 4000lb Trailer?

Question:

Im looking for a tongue jack that I can mount on the side of my 5inch A frame or into the front-centre mount of the A frame of my 4000lb RV Trailer which has a hitch weight of 450lbs. Does the 1500lb weight capacity of this tongue jack refer to the hitch weight or actual trailer weight? I need to move my trailer around to a spot on my driveway where I cannot do it attached to my tow vehicle. Will this hitch be durable enough to do that? Or can you recommend another?

The Pull Pin, Easy Swivel Trailer Jack with 6" Dual Wheels - Sidewind - 1,500 lbs. # DL22580 you were looking is designed to fit trailer tongues that are up to 3" wide x 5" tall, so this will be perfect for the frame of your trailer.

Since the only weight that affects a trailer jack is the tongue weight, and since you only have 450lbs of tongue weight this jack will be plenty strong as it has a 1500lb rating.

In addition the dual wheels on the # DL22580 will be perfect for allowing you to move the trailer around in your driveway by hand as needed.

I included a video of the # DL22580 for you to take a look at.
