Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement left-hand tailgate latch for your Stromberg Carlson 4000 series fifth wheel tailgate.This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side tailgate latch on your Stromberg Carlson 4000 series fifth wheel louvered tailgate. For whatever reason, yours is damaged and needs to be replaced. This is going to be the part you're going to need.So you can see it's already got the latching feature so that when we put it in place, it's going to bite down onto that holding rod there. And then when we pull our pin in the middle, it's going to pull that latch so that we can have it engaged and disengaged.We've got the mountain holes on the side here, to get it all mounted up. And you will have to attach your pull wire there to get it to unlatch when you pull the middle of the pull wire in the middle of your tailgate.
