What Are The Dimensions Of The BAK Revolver Tonneau Cover When Rolled Up?

Question:

When the BAKflip MX4, Fibermax, G2, etc. are folded up to the cab for full bed access, what is the distance from the back of the cab glass to the back of the folded cover? Due to the shorter 5.5inch bed on my truck, I may need some of those last few inches of space for my application.

The correct version for your 2020 Ford F-150 with the 5-1/2' bed is BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK39329. I contacted the vendor and confirmed that when the cover is rolled up it will measure about 8-1/2 inches in diameter. You can see in the attached photo that it will rest nearly touching the back window, but not quite touching it. I would measure a little more than 8-1/2 inches from your back glass which will give you an idea of how much of the rolled up cover will overhang into the bed.

Unfortunately BAK was not able to give any exact numbers regarding the distance from the rolled up cover to the tailgate but you should be able to get a really close estimate using the method mentioned above. I attached a demonstration video for you to check out.

I talked to BAK regarding the MX4 # BAK48329, G2 # BAK26329, and FiberMax # BAK126329 for your 2020 Ford F150 5-1/2' bed. BAK said that it varies among all the different vehicles out there, but when these hard covers are folded up all the way in the upright position against the glass, it could overhang into the bed up to 7" max.
