Replacement for Gabriel Shock Model 610712
Question:
Im not sure this is what I need. My customer has a large boat, the trailer hitch has 2 gabriel shocks to push the clamp in place after it is connected. There are no wires that connect to the boat or brake system, so the discription of brake actuator is throwing me off. I could send a picture of the unit if that wood help. The gabriel # is either t2032 or 610712 - both #s are stamped on the shock. Thank you for your help on this.

To determine if the Replacement Shock for Titan Model 6 and 10 Brake Actuators, part # T1242600 will work to replace your Gabriel number 610712 (T2032) shock, you will need to verify a few quick measurements.
Part # T1242600 will work as a replacement for a shock with the following dimensions:
Extended length: 8-1/16"
Collapsed length: 6"
Inner diameter of mounting rings: 0.63" and 0.90"
Outer diameter of body: 1.63"
I've a dimensional diagram to illustrate.
