Trailer Wiring Harness for 2013 Porsche Cayenne
Question:
Based on a response from Charles S to a request from Steve S for his 2011 Cayenne the Tekonsha Wiring - 119179KIT was recommended. I would like confirmation this Kit will ‘fit’ a 2013. Thanks. Installing the Curt hitch was a breeze to do.

The # 119179KIT harness you mentioned isn't vehicle specific, but it could be installed by tapping into the taillight wiring harness of your Cayenne. When the vehicle in question is a European vehicle like the Cayenne, I'll typically recommend going with the # 119250KIT. Instead of physically tapping into the vehicle wiring, the # 119250KIT uses sensors that snap around the individual brake lamp, turn signal and running lamp circuits without piercing the wire. Even though the wire insulation won't be pierced, the sensor can determine when power is drawn through the circuit.
Long story short, if you find yourself getting a little squeamish about yourself or somebody else splicing into the wiring of your Cayenne, the # 119250KIT would work. If you don't mind using a scotch lock/quick connector to tap into the circuits, the # 119179KIT would work as well.
I've linked to a product install video showing the # 119250KIT being installed on a 2017 Cayenne.
