Adapter to Tow 5th Wheel Hitch With Recessed Gooseneck

I have a flatbed with a bandw recessed Turnoverball. Will this adapter work?

While we do have an option for an adapter that will allow you to tow your 5th wheel hitch with your recessed gooseneck, the Demco # DM6140 base rail adapter isn't able to mount to a recessed gooseneck hole. So instead, what you can use is a different option from Demco:
- Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball # DM8550046
The Recon amounts to a 5th wheel hitch that will attach directly to your gooseneck ball, and this will work so long as the top of the gooseneck ball is13/16" or closer to the top of your truck bed.
This hitch is simple to install, and convenient because it comes in two lightweight pieces so you can easily install and remove the hitch for a clean truck bed or to use the gooseneck ball to tow a different trailer. The Recon also has a superb single-piece jaw that wraps totally around the king pin, and is reinforced via a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed.
