How Far Below the Bed Can the Hitch Ball Be To Use the Recessed Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel

Question:

I cant find any info on how much adjustment there is, as flatbeds vary in height. What is the maximum distance between the top of the ball and the bed that this hitch will accommodate? Also, is there any reason this wouldnt work on an aluminum bed?

In order for the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball part # DM8550046 to work the distance from the top of the hitch ball to the bed floor must be no more than 3/4". If this distance is more than 3/4" then you may be able to obtain a taller hitch ball (please confirm model number of gooseneck hitch) in order to get you within the needed range.

In regards to the aluminum bed construction, I don't see any issues here nor are there are warnings against this so I think you will be fine.
