5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Short Bed

Hi I am in need of a 16000 pound 5th wheel hitch for a 09 Dodge 2500 quad cab 6 foot bed pickup Im sure I need a slide but what brand is best for a dodge ? Reese,curt,pro it will be pulling a 33foot camper

On a short bed truck like your 2009 Dodge Ram 2500, you will need a slider hitch. But first, you will need an installation kit. I recommend the custom installation kit # RP50140-58 because it installs in less time and requires less drilling. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
Because clearance between the truck cab and the trailer will be a concern on a short bed truck when making tight turns, I recommend a round tube slider because they offer the most travel (12 inches). For a 16K hitch and round tube slider AND for a reliable hitch, go with the Reese 16K round tube slider # RP30075. I have linked a video review for you.
You may also be interested in adding wiring in the bed of the truck using # HM42137. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation for you.
