Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for Truck with 5-1/2 Foot Bed Length
Question:
I have a quick slide 5th wheel hitch 16k from reese and will be pulling a 25 ft 5th wheel trailer will this be a problem with my short 5ft 6 inch bed or will it be ok.

There's only one slider hitch that can work in a bed length shorter than 6 feet and still provide enough turning clearance and it's not one made by Reese. Instead you'd want the Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch part # DM8550040 which will automatically slide back and give you 22-1/2 inches of clearance.
This would basically be the only sliding hitch that's going to work for your application.
