Is a Rivet Tool Required to Install Curt Trailer Hitch C13316 on a 2013 BMW X3
Question:
I am planning to order the C13316 for a 2013 BMW X3. In the installation video and instructions it mentions a rivet tool will be needed to reinstall the plastic rivets in the wheel wells. Do you sell one on your site? If so, do you have a part number? Thanks!

The instructions for Curt trailer hitch # C13316 do indicate that a plastic rivet gun is required to complete the installation. We do not have one on our site but it is something you can obtain anywhere tools are sold. It is probably not an item that you will use very often so you do not have to get a fancy one for this one-time installation. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4 which comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. Trailer wiring will have to be obtained from a BMW dealer as there are no aftermarket options available.
