LED Display on Curt C24VV TriFlex Brake Controller Only Reads 3 With Output Turned Up All the Way

Why when i set it to max stopping, lets say 9 n when i push the break it only will read 3

According to my contact in the Tech Services department at Curt Manufacturing, what you're seeing with your # C24VV TriFlex is most likely caused by having the output or gain of the controller turned all the way up with the sensitivity turned all the way down. If you increase the sensitivity, you'll see more voltage output displayed.
I would be curious to know why you have the controller output turned all the way up? You'll want the controller to apply enough voltage to the trailer brakes- just to the point right before the brakes lock up and the tires skid. That's the point where you get maximum braking.
