You shouldn't loose any wheel clearance with the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit. First you will want to see which of the Equalizers you need. There is a 6,000lb Equalizers # K71-654-00 (5-5/8") and 8,000lb Equalizers # K71-655-00 (7-3/4"). The 6,000lb is for hubs spread 33" on center and 8,000lb for hubs 35" on center.

If you choose either the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension 6,000lb Kit # K71-652-00 or 8,000lb Kit # K71-653-00 they will include 2-1/4" shackle straps. If your current shackle straps are shorter the kit will lower your suspension slightly. If your straps are longer it will raise your suspension slightly. If you need help finding the right size replacement straps please let me know what length you currently have.
