Best Bike Rack For E-Bikes With Shallow Factory Hitch On A 2020 Volvo XC90

I have a 2020 xc90 that has the factory retractable hitch. From the back of the receiver to front pad is 4 1/4 inches total depth From the back of the receiver to the middle of the pin hole is 2 5/8 inches and from pin hole to front pad is 1 3/4 inches. Im looking for a platform style bike holder for 2 ebikes. The problem with the factory hitch is it is not very deep.

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR is a great bike rack for your two ebikes. It has 80 lbs per bike so it's plenty strong for you. It will fit in your hitch and won't hit your bumper on your 2020 Volvo XC90, even with the shallow hitch. From the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded up is 5 inches and when folded down it's about 7-1/2 inches so you are good there! It will tilt away with the bikes loaded up but it varies from car to car and bike to bike if your rear hatch will clear it. I like the Sport Rider over the Saris Freedom # SA4412B-R because it's much easier to get your bikes loaded and unloaded. Especially with ebikes, the frame strap is difficult to get around where the battery connects.
