Recommended Base Plate Kit For 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Compatible With Blue Ox Tow Bar

I need advice for towing a 2014 Jeep Cherokee 4wd Trail hawk. I have a Blue Ox 10,000 lb tow bar, safety cables and wire hook up from motor home to tow vehicle. The car has tow hooks in front. Can I use these? What else do I need?

I have another option for you, but you cannot attach your Blue Ox 10000lb tow bar to the factory tow hooks on your 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4WD.
Instead I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1136 which are confirmed to fit your vehicle and will give you the correct mounting point for your tow bar.
Since you already have the safety cables, tow bar, and the wiring the only things you will need are a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter to level your tow bar to your tow vehicle.
Starting with the supplemental braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR due to it being very easy to install, and since it gets removed when you are down flat towing it can be used in multiple tow vehicles if needed.
Last as I mentioned you may need a high-low adapter to get your tow bar level to your tow vehicle so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.
It is also a good idea to check the owner's manual of your Cherokee for any flat tow restrictions, or any special steps needed to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed.
