Best Way to go From 4-Way to 7-Way for 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 2500
Question:
I already installed the Tekonsha 4 way flat on my 2017 Sprinter to tow my boat. Now I need a 7 way for a new travel trailer. Is there an easier way to “upgrade” to 7 way without having to buy, install the whole kit again? - thanks-

If the travel trailer with a 7-way does not have brakes the easy solution is the # 37185 which would plug right into your current 4-way and all of the lighting circuits would be active. If instead you did have trailer brakes you'd want to use the # ETBC7 which comes with brake controller wiring needed as well as the same adapter of the # 37185.
The 7-way kit part # TK22115 which is custom fit for you vehicle essentially is the same setup as a 4-way like you have converted to a 7-way with the ETBC7 so I would not recommend that route as an easier option by any means.
For a brake controller the part # TK63VR would be a great option that's cost effective, reliable, and since its proportional it will sense how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes and give you a relative amount on your trailer brakes.
