7-Way and Brake Controller Wiring for 2008 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I am buying and installing a hitch to my 2008 Honda Odyssey. What is my best option for getting a 7-pin receiver that will activate the trailers brakes as well. Thank you.

The first thing you'll need is a 4-way trailer wiring harness that fits your 2008 Honda Odyssey like the # 118438 which you'd then convert to a 7-way with the 4-way to 7-way adapter part # ETBC7 which also comes with everything needed to wire in a brake controller like the Brake EVN # TK63VR which uses an inertia sensor to detect how hard to apply the trailer brakes, is very reliable, and is priced great.
