Aluminum Wheels/Tire Combo to Replace 205/75-15 Tires on Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 205/75/14 D 2200lbs on my Summerland Mini. I want to upgrade to a 205/75/15 E. What is the best tire you have? And about rims? Do you have aluminum? Trying to cut on weight

I don't offer a load range E tire in the 205/75-15 size, but we do in the 225/75-15. A 225/75-15 tire would be one inch wider which would move the inner sidewall of the tire 1/2 inch closer to the trailer. The tire is 1 inch larger in diameter which would raise your travel trailer's ride height by 1/2 inch.

If you need a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern wheel, you'll need to purchase the wheel and tires separate as we don't offer a tire in that size mounted to a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern aluminum wheel. I'd recommend the Westlake 225/75-15 radial load range E tire, part # LHWL304.

What sets Westlake tires apart from the competition is that you'll get their complimentary roadside service for 2 years with the purchase of their tires. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. For a wheel, I'd recommend their aluminum Lynx 15x5 trailer rim, part # LHSL301.

If your existing wheels have a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern, I'd go with the # LHAW330 which is a 225/75-15 Load Range E radial tire mounted on the Lynx rim mentioned above.
