Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch For 2019 Ram 2500 Short Bed

I was looking in purchasing a fifth wheel hitch, I have a 2019 ram 2500 short bed, I was looking at your options and this ones were the ones i found interest in Curt A25, Q24 and BandW Companion RVB3600, will any one of this options be a perfect fit or will i have to add a slider to them, also is there one that you recommend, Thank You

I would be happy to recommend a 5th wheel hitch for you 2019 Ram 2500 short bed.
Since you have a short bed you are correct that you will need to use a sliding hitch for increased cab clearance, or you can add a rotating pin box to your trailer and use a fixed 5th wheel hitch.
The B&W Companion # BWRVK3670, and the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R24 Slider - Dual Jaw - 24,000 lbs # C16566 are the slider models available if your truck has the OEM prep package, but the # C16566 will need the adapter rail # C16022 to work with the OEM prep package. The Curt A25 you mentioned is not available as a slider. If your truck does have the OEM prep package I recommend going with the # C16566 and # C16022 as it will give you the highest towing capacity at 24000lbs which is great for extra peace of mind when going down the road, and will give you room to tow a heavier trailer in the future if needed.
If your truck does not have the OEM prep package then I recommend going with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400-5W which installs in the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1320-5W. This is a great option since when the 5th wheel hitch is not installed you will not have any above bed rails in the way, and can also be used as a gooseneck hitch.
