Weight Distribution System for 2017 Ford F-150 & 34' Travel Trailer
Question:
sway bar/Weight distribution question. I have a Bullet 29RK trailer gross 7,500 hitch 685 that Im pulling with a 2017 F-150 5.0 L with a tow capacity of 10,500 and gcwr of 16,000. On a truck scale we weighed 3200 front axle, 4260 drive axle and 6340 trailer axle for a total gross of 13,800. We just bought the trailer and it came with EAZ-Lift and a friction sway bar. On our first two trips we are experiencing more sway than we have with other trailers. This trailer is 34 long and with the kitchen in the rear we think its a little off balance. Could you recommend a better WDH that would also control sway for us?

I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37100ET. The sway control brackets ensure that your trailer stays in line with your tow vehicle. This will evenly distribute weight over axles of tow vehicle and trailer for stability and control and helps to create a more level ride for both tow vehicle and trailer. The integrated 4-Point Sway Control limits side-to-side movement of trailer. 2-5/16" Hitch ball and adjustable shank included. If you do not need the shank, then please review # EQ37101ET.
I have attached a few links to product reviews and installation videos as well as a link to some of etrailers published help articles.
