Correct Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution For Camper Trailer With 7,600 lb GVWR
Question:
I have a camper that has a unloaded vehicle weight of 5854, and a cargo carrying capacity of 1828. A hitch weight of 682. I need a weight distribution hitch and decided I want to go with the Blue ox. Is the BXW1000 the weight distribution hitch I need?

Yep, you are on the money with the correct Blue Ox SwayPro for your camper trailer that has a GVWR of just over 7,600 lbs:
- Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution with Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # BXW1000
This weight distribution system is for trailers that have a tongue weight when fully loaded of between 750 lbs and 1,000 lbs, which yours will be based on your GVWR. The SwayPro is a great choice because it will not only give you a level ride and remove your sway, but it is also the easiest system to set up.
The only other thing you will need is a hitch ball, depending on the size of your trailer's coupler. For this you will need either the 2" Hitch Ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # A-6.
