How To Install 7-Way Trailer Connector On 2006 GMC Sierra
Question:
What if theres no wiring harness how do I hard wire it in

The 2006 GMC Sierra's all come with a US Car Connector which is a pigtail used to install a trailer connector. Once you locate this, you'd simply plug-in a trailer connector which uses the US Car Connector like the Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector part # 30955. I have attached a video which shows the location of the pigtail.
If your model does not have the pigtail, you'd had to hardwire a different harness like the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7 which requires a 4-way like the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter part # 119178KIT.
