Would Lippert Jack-It Bike Rack Adapter Affect Fuel Mileage

I cant find where to ask a question, though Ive asked before. Im wondering if the Jack-It2 bike rack LC429756. will hurt my aerodynamics/gas mileage? Would I be better off getting a 2inch adapter for my rear bumper and getting an RV Approved hitch rack? Im pulling a Keystone Bullet Premier 26RBPR, 2016

The Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756 that you referenced is not going to affect fuel mileage for a couple reasons. Mostly because it would be primarily behind the tow vehicle and underneath where the majority of the higher wind would be and because the rack itself is very narrow so it would not obstruct much wind. Bikes don't block wind either since the frames are open and the spokes of the wheel are very narrow.

If your vinyl trim track on your travel trailer is 1 inch wide from outside edge to outside edge you'd need 3/4 inch wide vinyl trim as the trim fits into the track. So for 100 feet of black 3/4 inch wide trim you'd want the #CAM25272.

Its actually not recommended to use a cover on bike racks because the wind ends up whipping the cover around to the point that the bike and it's finish can get damaged. Plus the cover eventually gets torn up too.
