Which Class V Hitch for 1996 Ford F-350 with Deep Drop Bumper
Question:
I have a 1996 Ford f350 with a stock 12 bumper. I went to a local rv shop to get a receiver, they said the bandw class 5 would work. When it showed up they said it would only work for a 10 bumper not the 12. Was wondering if you guys had a receiver that would work with a 12 bumper

It sounds like you've got the deep drop bumper on your 1996 Ford F-350, so the correct B&W Class V hitch for your truck is the # BWHDRH25198. It sounds like they potentially got you the # BWHDRH25122 to start, which is for use on the standard bumpers or step bumpers instead of the 12" deep drop that you've got.
I've linked an installation video of this hitch for you to check out in case you want to do the installation yourself this time, as well as all of the trailer wiring harness options for your truck in case you also need the wiring to tow a trailer.
